Spongy Keepy-Uppy
Time:45 min
Difficulty:Easy
We’ve got a soap-prise for you: a new type of tennis that’s simply absorbing. Time to make your racket and get playing!
Here’s what you need:
- A sponge for each player
- A sturdy stick (like a wooden ruler or paint stir stick) for each player
- An inflated balloon
- Tape (like masking or duct tape)
- A friend to play with!
Here’s how you do it:
Step 1:
To make your racket, tape your sponge near the top of your stick. You’ll want the sponge to stay put when you move the stick around.
Step 2:
Start playing! Your goal: Keep that balloon up in the air and don’t let it touch the ground. Work together to keep it up for as long as you can!
Tip (for outdoor play only):
Looking to cool off? Just dip your sponge in water and get ready to make a splash as you play!
Ooh sounds pretty awesome!
My sister hit me with the sponge for no reason
But it was fun
I haven’t done it yet but it looks like a lot of fun
ellier2003: I’m sorry your sister hit you with a sponge. (At least it was soft, right?)
Did the sponge hurt? Nobody wants to be hit with anything! Are you ok ellier2003?
I’ve done it without the stick or sponge and I kept it up for a hour
My brother hit me with the spunge too. Ellir2003 is your sis younger than you? My brother is.
Sometimes I. Cook maybe I. Could. Try to make it as in. 7 minutes
