We’ve already counted down the top ten biggest cats, so what’s next? Biggest dogs, of course! After combing through millions of records (ok maybe not that many), we came up with a list of the top ten biggest wild dogs.
We know that sometimes weight can be a little hard to understand so in addition to kilograms and pounds, we’ve also gotten help from something pretty heavy: a 16 pound bowling ball! That way, the next time you are out at a bowling alley, you’ll know that a coyote weighs the same as about 3 bowling balls!

the gray wolf is the coolest on there!
i love wild dogs!
It was funny and scary, because one day while my mom was driving me home from school she said she was outside with me cat when she suddenly saw a coyote in my neighbours back yard so she had to move the cat in! It was really weird!(i wish I was there though)
I love wild canines! They’re awesome! But my favorites are the red fox, coyote, dingo and the gray wolf. (All tied for first place) But I’m still more of a fan of felines and birds (raptors especially) so I know more about them then dogs. I had no idea what a culpeo was at all. But it’s totally cute and rugged-looking!
10 and 2 look scarry the bonus is so cute!
COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are all SOOOOO cute!! but my fave is the gray wolf my 2nd fave is the maned wolf(their nickname is fox on stilts)! XD 😀 =) <3 <3 <3 🙂
its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO… CUTE!!! but foxes are not big and on the internet the hyena is in the top 10 but its still SUPER CUTE!!! k9s are my fave animals
Weres the Hyena, Arctic Wolf, Timber, Wolf Swamp Wolf or The Indian Wolf?
Great eye Warriors rule! Since we already had the grey wolf on this list, we didn’t include any of the grey wolf subspecies. As for the hyena, did you know that it is actually more closely related to cats than to dogs? That’s why we didn’t include them either.
Awww!I thought there was gonna be jackals in this!
