But you don’t need to travel far to see amazing plants and animals—just out your front door! There are tons right in your own neighbourhood, and until June 12, snapping a picture of them could make you a winner!

Enter the Backyard Biologist Contest!

Head outside and take photos of some of the interesting species that live near you. Then share it with us, along with a description of how you identified it, in the Backyard Biologist Mission (look for it in the App) or at www.earthrangers.com/backyardbiocontest.

We’ll pick one winner from each of the following categories:

Plants and Fungi
Vertebrates

Invertebrates

So I was at school last week and we have a lot of snail’s in the front of the school,but lots of kids where trying to take the snail’s at school so I told the principles .so he told me that I could stay at the front of the school soi did and 3days after .one of my class mate Caleb wanted to see the snail’s so I let him but then he STEPPED on a snail! So I cryd and true to fix it but it doesn’t make it
