Take Action to Protect Wolves
The best way to help wolves is to conserve their natural habitat - this means protecting natural areas like forests and grasslands from development. Loss of habitat and disturbances by humans are the main causes in declining wolf populations. Making sure that wolves have large, undisturbed habitats is crucial to their protection.
By completing ‘Eco Activity #97: Lookout for nature’, you can repurpose some scrap paper to save the forest (that our friends the wolves live in!) and reduce paper waste, all while creating a super cool pair of binoculars for outdoor exploring! Once you’ve created your binoculars, get outside and see what you can find.
If you would like to take your action a step further, become an Earth Ranger to access the Outdoor Explorer Mission! This Mission leads you on a guided outdoor adventure in a natural area, park or greenspace. Head out with friends or family members and enjoy the fresh air! Share your adventure with others by emailing or printing the Outdoor Explorer postcard - this will help to raise awareness of the importance of protecting nature in Canada.
