His favourite part about being an Earth Ranger is that he gets to make the planet cleaner. Caleb loves being outside in nature and exploring. Caleb has great environmental role models. His family leads by example by always picking up garbage outside and recycling everywhere they can.

Caleb’s favourite planet-protecting action is cleaning up garbage. He wishes others would remember to clean up their own messes, too. He plans to inspire other kids by showing them how to pick up and sort garbage safely. When asked what he might do next to protect the planet, Caleb says that starting next week, he will turn off lights when his family isn’t using them. He plans to ask his mom and dad to help!

Caleb wants other kids to know that it’s important we protect animals and the environment because we don’t want animals to get sick or hurt. He knows that by working together, we can keep them safe!

Alissandra loves all of the interesting facts you can learn on the app. What’s her favorite mission? The Water Taste Challenge! She had fun watching her family members test the water, and since then, they’ve pretty much stopped using single-use plastic water bottles for good! Go, Alissandra!

When she’s not busy on the app, Alissandra loves the great outdoors and spends her time playing hockey, hiking, swimming in lakes, and snowboarding in winter. Alissandra is also a master gardener and loves planting flowers and other plants in her family garden.

Alissandra also likes to camp outside in the wilderness, leaving their campsite better than they found it She always makes sure that her family doesn’t leave any litter, and wants to remind everyone that if we all clean up after ourselves, we can enjoy our parks more!

What’s next? Alissandra plans to walk to school and will challenge her little brother to walk with her. The race is on! Let’s all cheer Alissandra on as she takes on the world to make it better!

Audrey and Addison have been living the Earth-loving life for as long as they can remember. Their main target: litter! If they see some on a hike with their Dad, they pick it up and make sure it goes in the right bin. But being a Super Ranger is a full-time gig! That’s why they pick up litter wherever they find it. They even volunteered to pick up litter at school!

When they heard about Earth Rangers, they knew it was just the place for them! In fact, they like being Earth Rangers so much, they’re getting their friends to join too! Now, that’s what we like to hear, Audrey and Addison!

These sisters LOVE the Earth Rangers App. They really like the proud feeling they get whenever they complete a Mission. Their favourite has to be More Plastic More Problems. It helped them learn how much waste is created. They’ve now kicked single-use plastic water bottles out of their lives! Hi-ya!

They also love how the app gets them outside with their family! As Earth Rangers, we know that when it comes to the outdoors, the more the merrier! Planet protection is a team sport. Amazing work, girls!

Both of Micaela’s parents are from small islands. They’ve seen the environment change a lot over their lifetime. Her mum remembers snorkeling through coral reefs that have now disappeared. She remembers playing on beaches that are now covered in invasive seaweed. Sadly, small islands are some of the places hardest hit by climate change. 

The good news is that for people on the islands, being eco-friendly is a way of life. They have to keep their garbage low because they have to take it to the dump themselves. They also get money for returning glass and plastic bottles. 

All of this made Micaela jump into action! She is part of her school’s Green Team and spends her time on nature walks picking up garbage. Her family brings reusable containers to the store so they don’t have to buy more packaging. They even make their own beeswax wraps instead of using plastic wrap. BUT that’s not all! Micaela’s hoping to put together a recess clean-up!  Very cool, Micaela! Very cool!

Micaela’s words of advice:

I want kids to know that it’s so important to protect the environment because it takes care of us. It provides the clean air we breathe, the water that we drink, and the food that we eat. By taking care of the environment, we take care of ourselves, too.

Those are some wise words. Way to go Micaela!

Zen and Kiana are BIG fans of being eco-friendly. They grow their own fruits and veggies, recycle, and work hard to save energy at home. When their mom told them about Earth Rangers, they signed up right away!

“The animals and environment are special and we need them to survive,” they told us. And these super sisters are super right! 

Zen and Kiana love finding new ways to help animals. Now, they not only save energy at home but at school too! They pick up litter every day, and plan to make homemade bird feeders every spring and summer. They’ve also started composting. They’ve even gotten their neighbours to compost too!  

But that’s not all! Zen and Kiana even adopted two polar bears! They bring their plushies to school and use them to teach their friends about saving animals.

Wow, Zen and Kiana! You two are truly amazing super sisters. We are SO impressed by all the work you’ve done to protect our planet and all the incredible creatures that depend on it! Great job, girls!

Emma and her family recycle and use reusable bags. They also save energy at home, and plant trees and flowers EVERY summer to help the bees and butterflies.

But the first time Emma REALLY felt like she needed to protect the planet was a time when she was in the car with her mom. She noticed black smoke coming out of a big building. She asked her mom what it was and learned that it was pollution! She wanted to know more so she started asking tons of questions (which is an awesome way to learn). 

Emma then had a “Save the Planet” birthday party. She wanted to inspire her friends to help the planet too. She even gave out flower seeds so her friends could plant their own pollinator gardens. Now THAT’S an awesome loot-bag!

Emma then learned about Earth Rangers from her mom. She quickly joined up and has been hard at work ever since. “I like helping animals and I want our planet to have better days ahead. My favourite part of nature is helping it grow,” says Emma.

Emma has completed FIVE Missions so far (WOW) and is still going! She plans to tackle the Food Waste Warrior Mission next. She’s asked her whole family to join in, even her cousins! But she hasn’t stopped at Missions. She’s also adopted FOUR animals! She’s helped the great horned owl, polar bear, arctic fox, and the Western bumblebee. Way to go, small but mighty Earth Ranger Emma!

These super siblings were inspired by their dad. He is an EcoChampion at his work! That means he works with his co-workers to reduce waste, conserve energy, and clean up the environment. He signed them up to be Earth Rangers, and now they’re an unstoppable team! 

Their favourite activity is learning how to recycle and reduce waste the right way. It’s a big task that isn’t always easy, you just have to be brave enough to try! They LOVE the arctic fox and have each adopted a polar bear!

The super siblings told us: 

“Our favourite part about being an Earth Ranger is that we get to protect the planet. Our favourite part about nature is trees and how they give us oxygen to breathe!”

Their next planet-protecting adventure is to plant some trees and organize a cleanup of their neighborhood park where the local kids play. After that, they plan to talk to their schoolmates about saving energy!

What a team! High five, super siblings! We’re so impressed by your dedication to animals and saving the planet. Together, everything is possible!

After Sam joined Earth Rangers, the first thing he did was plant a garden! He teamed up with his mom (who is an expert gardener) and planted a bunch of flowers and food. Now they have lots of food to eat that they’ve grown themselves! 

Their garden is visited by lots of hungry bees and birds. Sam jumped into action to make them feel welcome. He put in a bee hotel and a bird house that he made HIMSELF, and a family of sparrows nest in it each year! Go, Sam, go! 

Sam is also a Mission Master! He has done so many, but his favourite is Just 1 Tree. That’s where you plant trees to help fight climate change. Sam loves everything about trees, whether it’s climbing them or just exploring the forests they create. Plus, trees are home to Sam’s all-time favourite animal: squirrels!

Sam and his family try their best to walk and ride their bikes as much as possible. They compost the scraps from the fruits and vegetables that they grow and return it back to the earth! They also try to use as little packaging as possible, and Sam helps his dad sort the recycling almost every week! 

What words does Sam have for kids like YOU? It’s important protect the planet because “when we help the earth and work together, we can conquer our garbage problems and climate change!” 

Earth Ranger Sam is the perfect example of a Super Ranger!

“In my community I always pick up litter when I go for a walk with my family. I also fill our bird feeder outside when it’s empty!”  Super Ranger Diana helps to reduce waste, and protect birds!

Diana caught our team’s avid attention with her incredible work on her missions and her Bring Back the Wild campaigns. She’s completed 17 missions, is currently working towards 8 more, and has fundraised for 3 different Bring Back the Wild campaigns! Below is a quick snap-shot of her incredible efforts!

This summer Super Ranger Diana completed her Piping Plover Bring Back the Wild campaign by selling homemade bookmarks in her neighbourhood. Check out her awesome Fundraising Stand! With these bookmarks Diana reached the $250.00 milestone on her Piping Plover campaign!

Since originally taking the Earth Rangers Pledge Diana has reached level 6 on her Journey, has protected the Woodland Caribou, Gray Foxes, and Piping Plovers. In her time as an Earth Ranger Diana has raised $535.00 for endangered and at-risk animals – wow, that’s incredible!

Super Ranger Diana wants you to remember that it is our duty to protect endangered and at-risk animals “If we don’t protect the animals they could go extinct. If we don’t protect the environment the bees could die and we will have no fruit or vegetables to eat!” Thank you, Diana, for helping to lead us towards a greener future!

Super Ranger Jackson kickstarted his fundraising efforts by hosting an awesome Bring Back the Wild Birthday Party! Jackson has always loved nature — so when he saw the Earth Rangers advertisement on television, he knew right away he wanted to be one! Jackson decided to have an Earth Ranger themed birthday party for his 7^th birthday.

Super Ranger Jackson says that he chose the Ringed Seal because; “I like seals, even though foxes are my favourite animal!”. So, in lieu of birthday gifts, Jackson’s friends and family generously donated funds toward his Ringed Seal campaign. Through this fundraiser Jackson was able to raise $60.00, even contributing some of his own money! Jackson says he was thrilled to know he was helping the seals; “I hope it will help protect them!”

Super Ranger Jackson wants to leave off with the following message to all members and nature enthusiasts alike: “ALL animals are important!” So, remember Rangers; whether you focus on fundraising for endangered animals, or completing in-home missions to create lasting, positive impacts, you CAN make a difference!
