Starting Your Fundraiser

Being an animal-saving hero is easy! Just Grab a parent or guardian to help start your fundraising campaign, then spread the word among friends and family.

Animals you will help protect

Red fox with orange fur and bright eyes

Fundraise for Red Foxes!

Start a fundraiser to help red foxes! These mischievous critters thrive in the dense forests of the Ottawa Valley. Unfortunately, invasive plant species are over-running the valley, making it harder for foxes to find food. Your fundraiser will support conservationists who are working around the clock to remove these invasive plants, restore native species, and protect the valley for generations of red foxes to come.

Conservation biologist

Megan Quinn, a conservation biology coordinator at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, collaborates with local communities to remove invasive species from the Ottawa Valley.

Grey wolf howling

Fundraise for Grey Wolves!

Start a fundraiser to help grey wolves! These noble creatures thrive in the snow-covered forests of the Yukon/Gwich'in First Nation's Traditional Territory around Old Crow, Yukon. Unfortunately, climate change and human development threaten their habitat. Your fundraiser will support conservationists and Vuntut Gwitchin Land Guardians as they study wolf behavior, share knowledge, and work to preserve this keystone species.

Wildlife researcher

Karl Schmidt, a wildlife ecology and conservation student at the University of Guelph, collaborates with the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation to observe wolves and preserve traditional Indigenous environmental knowledge.

Sea turtle swimming in ocean

Fundraise for Sea Turtles!

Start a fundraiser to help sea turtles! These tiny terrapins thrive in the sandy beaches and sunny surf of Nicaragua. Unfortunately, climate change and over-fishing threaten their habitat. Your fundraiser will support the Sea Turtle Education and Protection Program, which engages local children in conservation by teaching them about ecology and protecting turtle eggs and nests.

Marine conservationist

The Sea Turtle Education and Protection Program is a grassroots initiative aiding sea turtles and engaging children in conservation in Nicaragua's Playa Salinas Grandes.

Bumblebee on orange flower

Fundraise for Bumblebees!

Start a fundraiser to help bumblebees! These fuzzy beauties thrive in fields of flowers. Unfortunately, climate change and human development threaten their migration and pollination patterns. Your fundraiser will support the conservation of the Burninglass Hills, a vast wildlife corridor full of native grasslands and home to a whopping six different types of bumblebees.

Pollinator conservation expert

Sarah Rayliff is the BC Interior Program Manager at the Nature Conservancy of Canada, where she and her team are leading the restoration of the vast and beautiful Burninglass Hills.

Cougar in snowy forest

Fundraise for Cougars!

Start a fundraiser to help cougars! These fierce felines thrive in the Cypress Uplands, a vast wilderness of extraordinary biodiversity with rock structures and rock formations that can't be found anywhere else on Earth. Your fundraiser will support the conservation of the Cypress Uplands, protecting this unique habitat for generations of cougars to come.

Wildlife stewardship coordinator

Ashley Sahulka is a stewardship coordinator with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, where she and her team are leading the preservation of the extraordinary Cypress Uplands.
