The best way to help Lynx is to conserve their natural habitat - this means protecting natural areas like forests from development. Lynx require a large area of undeveloped space in order to thrive. Maintaining and protecting undisturbed ecosystems is crucial to protecting Lynx.
By completing ‘Eco Activity #128: Forest In a Jar’, you can build your own ecosystem suitable for a Lynx! This activity encourages you to build your own terrarium with items you find in a nearby forest! This self-sustaining ecosystem in a jar will give you a good look at the ins and outs of life in a forest.
If you would like to take your action a step further, become an Earth Ranger to access the Fantastic Crafts Mission! Calling all crafters! This Mission comes with a multitude of different crafts for various holidays with a focus on using forest-friendly, repurposed or recycled materials. Being conscious of the supplies we use helps us to keep our forests and all of the amazing animals that live in them, healthy and protected! Help protect lynx habitat by completing these up-cycled crafts.
