TIPS:

  • Take a look at craft books or websites for creative ideas and how-to guides
  • Have fun with friends by working on your crafts together or ask students to create art pieces or craft items like paintings, bookmarks, or jewelry.
  • Host an event at the school (during or after school hours) to showcase and sell the students’ items. Decorate it with animal pictures so customers can see the animals they’re helping. Your class may also want to make a fact sheet that can help explain the campaign.
NOTE: Depending on the school calendar, it may be beneficial to piggy-back on another event, like a book sale, fair, or concert
  • Display the artwork and craft selection in the front lobby or foyer of the school
NOTE: Allow people to purchase items “on the spot” by visiting administration, or use the artwork as a promotion for the event day!
  • Say Thanks – make sure customers know how their contributions are helping to protect animals in need! campaign.
